Easy Diy Galvanized Light Fixtures

There are two methods diy galvanized light fixtures: plug-in or hard-wire. Hard-wire is best fit for interior use. Plug-in allows pendant to be used in several room of your home either long-term or temporarily.

Galvanized Light Fixtures Design

To make galvanized light fixtures, Use drill to add a small hole in center of bucket or tub. Hold plug end of lamp wire in hand, fish raw end of lamp wire through hole and down inside bucket. Expose positive and negative wires with wire strippers, then wrap wires around screws and tighten in place. Insert attached bolt up through central hole of tub or bucket. Turn tub or bucket over, then proceed in pulling rope through hole, creating approximately 6 inches of slack on rope.

In order to keep each rope secure inside of tub or bucket, wrap end of rope with baling wire approximately 3 inches. Thick, long baling wire will reinforce edge of rope. Baling wire will be added to all four ropes. Secure first rope and lamp wire in place by wrapping rope with baling wire. Pull opposite end of first rope across top of tub or bucket, then secure with baling wire. Repeat process for second strand of rope. Galvanized light fixtures project is done!
